After much time spent trawling the interweb, I found Five decent sites. Their visual styles and user friendliness could be a good influence on the CIMF site.

CIMF sands for Canberra International Music Festival. It looks to be a celebration of clasical music and performers held in Canberra, in the month of May. This sounds like a boring genre with a boring website. Now theres not much i can do in the way of making classical music more interesting, but the site could definately be more visually engaging and user friendly.
I gotta choose a site to remodel. I can choose between…

http://www.folkfestival.asn.au
http://www.cimf.org.au
Im thinkin Stonefest will be the most popular, so i wont touch that one(too much competition). The CIMF site looks in need of a bit of a makeover.
Done. CIMF it is.

Oh snap! Im gettin my Blog on yo!
After years and years using the internet, and generally avoiding blogs of any kind, this year i am required in 2 Units to create a blog of my own. I always sorta thought that blogs were a total waste of time and quite boring, like the test pattern displayed on tv at 4am, but after peepin around a few of the more popular sites(wordpress/tumlir/blogger) i found that they are not ALL a COMPLETE waste of time. I haven’t overly enjoyed my blogging experience as a member of the audience, but i must admit that in my short time as a “Blogger” i have hovered around a level of entertainment somewhere between painting a wall, and watching paint dry. Hopefully after I finish this course at uni, my enjoyment level will be somewhere in between mowing the lawn, and watching grass grow.
Who knows, maybe ill continue blogging even after i finish the course..
